Bikes with hubless wheels may sound fantastic at the moment, but designers are striving hard at their workshops to make spokeless bikes a reality. Earlier we saw the Hubless monster bike from Amen Design, and now designer Alexander Kotlyarevsky has popped up with a custom motorcycle that too sans spokes and presents a neat and clean look. read more »

Designed by Juan Pablo Zapata Martinez, the KoH is an eye-catching riksha concept for public transport. KoH (meaning horse) is generally referred to bicycles and it also stands for an ecological transport system. Students from IED, Turin set out to design a sportscar for McLaren, one that would go beyond 320 kmph. The name of the concept points straight towards its inspiration, the Manta fish. Why buy an electronic scooter when you can rent it? This is the novel idea behind the Link scooter system, designed by Anton Grimes of University of New South Wales. It’s basically a modular transport solution, which allows users to hire a small, lightweight electronic scooter from a hub. Conceptualized by Kai Yu, the CityCell is a car that provides the driver with a wide field of vision (for distracting the men). Its distinctive shape, which resembles the cockpit of racing simulators, makes it look really inviting.
