The Drip with Song concept is probably the only concept I’d actually buy that uses CDs. I’ve totally transitioned to digital downloads but this just looks too precious. The saucer is actually a CD player with built-in speakers. The cup, when docked controls volume by turning it on the saucer. And just for kicks, it’s white with touch controls. How very 2008. Who am I kidding? I totally want one! read more »

Contemporist has a great post on Inamo, one of the newer restaurants in London's West End, which boasts fully interactive tables with touch technology. The tables function use overhead projectors and touch panels on the tables that work together to display things like menus, as well as rotate through a series of seven tablecloths according to the patrons preference. read more »
