The iTable by Catchyoo is inspired to ‘catch you’ with its Minority Report style interactive surface. It is truly the perfect model for interactive tables, because -get this- you don’t even have to buy a table from the company because the interactive system uses a more adaptable kind of technology. Just like the keyless keyboards we’ve seen around, the Catchyoo iTable uses optical sensing technology to track hand movements and translate them to computer input. The iTable takes it up a notch by projecting a display onto the surface, essentially creating a ’screenless touch-screen system’ We’ve seen some other interactive tables that try to make large touch screens, like supersized tablet PCs, but they will never be as versatile and flexible as the iTable, which can be used with any table, and where you do not have to worry about scratching or damaging the screen, because -guess what- there is no screen.
