While we wait anxiously for flying cars, more prototypes and concepts continue to pop. The flight of the Terrafugia Transition is some solace, but we can only be sure once deliveries begin. Another flying car under development is the High Road from Leigh Aerosystems. They claim the car has gone through wind tunnel tests, and is on quick road to flight.

It does have some interesting specs: 180mph cruise speed at 15,000 feet, the ceiling at 20,000 feet and a maximum range of 500 miles in air. On the ground, the car gets 25 mpg and a 500 mile range. The company is looking for investors to take the project forward, and while they wait for potential investors to arrive, we guess brushing up on photoshop and image rendering skills would do them a lot of good.
