Students from IED, Turin set out to design a sportscar for McLaren, one that would go beyond 320 kmph. The name of the concept points straight towards its inspiration, the Manta fish. The inspiration manifests itself in the form of fluid curves and lines on the car, with a somewhat “soft” appearance. Designers however, did not forget that the concept bears the name of McLaren and gave it a fairly good dose of the automaker’s design-language.
The concept isn’t meant to be an “exclusive supercar,” but rather an “everyday supercar,” something you could drive to work.
