The 2068 Fuzo concept comes from designer John Mahieddine, and is intended to be a sci-fi VTOL flying car. As it takes to the air, the wheels on the car retract, and the four turbines move into action, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 400 mph. Mexican designer Alberto Villarreal has come up with a green and efficient concept for taxis in Latin American cities. The MX-LIBRIS concept uses roof mounted solar panels to charge its batteries, and when the sun is out and it’s raining, the raised roof borders harvest rainwater, which is used as a coolant in the vehicle. In case the batteries are out, the taxi has fuel cells for backup. read more »
